We advocate the Phoenix Economy as the new model for wealth creation in the twenty-first century. Entrepreneurs and organisations in the Phoenix Economy must integrate the triple bottom line of economic, social and environmental value into their DNA, using new generations of business models and value chains that challenge the prior path of Western industrialisation.

For Asia to sustain its success in the long-term, stakeholders at all levels – including governments, educators and businesses – must challenge and deconstruct existing frameworks to better incorporate models adapted to the Phoenix Economy.

50 pioneers of the Phoenix Economy were identified and profiled in the report, of whom, 7 come from countries across Asia. View a snapshot of the Phoenix 50 in Asia (and other social innovators from Asia) here.

The Phoenix Economy is our first report, completed in 2009, and launched at the Skoll World Forum that year.
