The private sector can drive social innovation, and Hewlett Packard continues to prove it.  As Gabi Zedlmayer, VP of the Office of Global Social Innovation, recently writes for Forbes, “global citizenship is at an inflection point” – what used to be a corporate responsibility is now an opportunity for innovation, and HP leads the pack by innovating within their own programmes first.

In the most recent Volans-HP collaboration, all eyes are on education: between Catalyst, LIFE and the Social Innovation Relay, the global team is responding to crucial needs for educational innovation and entrepreneurship development.  This year alone, 21 organisations from 12 countries are joining the ever-growing Catalyst Network of institutions transforming STEM+ education.  The potential of technology to transform education is palpable, and the HP OGSI Education team, along with Volans, are working hard to re-imagine the classroom.
