An Unreasonable Partnership

Since Volans co-founders John Elkington and Pamela Hartigan published The Power of Unreasonable People in 2008, social and environmental entrepreneurs have continued to take the world by storm. The Unreasonable Institute, inspired by their book and George Bernard Shaw’s wisdom, helps make that happen. Every year, they gather 25 early-stage entrepreneurs from around the world who have innovative ideas that could potentially impact 1 million people.  Under one roof in Boulder, Colorado for six weeks, they receive training, mentorship, resources and, ultimately, the opportunity to pitch to hundreds of investors during the Unreasonable Climax.

The global network of Unreasonable People is growing quickly, and Volans is proud to be a pipeline partner. Applications are still open, but not for long: apply by November 10, 2011 to attend the 2012 Unreasonable Institute!
