Green secrets to be shared with industry

An initiative to promote environmental thinking in global manufacturing was announced yesterday through a move by two entrepreneurs to give away their commercial secrets to a new non-profit organisation in the US.
Bill McDonough, one of the two men behind the “cradle to cradle” philosophy that has built up a worldwide following over the past 20 years, said the move could lead to a “new industrial revolution” in the way the world approaches the design and manufacture of goods.
