If Phoenix forms of capitalism are to work, children need to have access to quality education that will allow them to shape their futures. Aflatoun is dedicated to reducing poverty by helping children develop the skills to be socially and financially empowered.

Q.1: Do you agree that a new economic order will rise from the ashes of the old—and, if so, what do you see as some of its key characteristics?

  • Yes
  • Hopefully more values in the corporate sector
  • Less disparity in income and a more equitable era
  • More respect for diversity

Q.2: What is needed in your market/industry to accelerate change? What barriers would you like to see removed and what partnerships would you like to develop?

  • Greater cross-sector partnership between government and industry
  • Greater respect across sectors
  • More policy change towards financial education

Q.3: Any other comments?

Hopefully we will all emerge wiser and a new economic more equitable social order will rise from the ashes………..
