Amy Birchall is the Director of Client Services. Her role involves working with global businesses, key influencers and government leaders, helping them develop and integrate cutting-edge social innovation strategies into their business agenda, and preparing their organizations for a future where innovation is a critical competitive advantage and talent the most valuable asset.

Recent projects include: the development of social innovation strategies and corporate leadership development programs with global innovators, integration initiatives related to Base of the Pyramid projects in emerging markets, social enterprise learning journeys for China and Thailand, along with other initiatives related to Volans Innovation Lab.

Amy comes from a diversified background with 12+ years experience working with senior management teams across the private and public sector in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. More recently, she has redirected her energy to focus on developing innovative and sustainable solutions for clients that create global economic, environmental, and social value. Following her experience in convening stakeholders from various cultures and sectors together to address key business challenges, Amy is thrilled to be working with the Volans team to create and scale innovative solutions through collaborative action-based thinking.

Over the years, Amy has been engaged in a number of projects & organizations in the social enterprise sector in Asia and Europe, and continues to be actively involved in mentoring and delivering workshops for social entrepreneurs and business professionals. Her expertise includes marketing & integrated communications, strategic development, stakeholder acquisition and management, business development, cultural integration and research. While working for independent boutique agencies, she advised clients in consumer & retail goods, youth development, healthcare, environment, education, sports & entertainment and the technology sector.

Originally from Canada, Amy has a BSc in Kinesiology & Biology, a post-graduate in Business- Marketing and completed the Global Institute for Tomorrow Leadership Programme in Hong Kong in 2009.
