John is currently in Australia speaking at the third annual Qantas Foundation Social Impact Lecture and running workshops with the Centre for Social Impact on sustainability and the future of the agenda.

In an interview for Sky News Business, John talks about the impact of the global financial crisis on the way companies are approaching sustainability, saying that while useful progress has been made in the field, there is still a need for scaled transformative change in order to effectively address our biggest issues. The next decade will be ‘make or break’.

John also discusses phase two of  ’Rate the Raters‘ report by SustainAbility which begins to ‘clean up’ the ranking and rating sector.
