Volans Campus
Progress is hard enough to measure in relation to our work with Trailblazers, but can be even harder to measure accurately in relation to our educational investment of time and effort. This is very much a ‘hearts and minds process,’ with the end results taking years — even decades — to play through.
Indicators of progress here range from the number of invitations to speak to the grades scored by students. But one very immediate indicator for Volans itself is the number of high calibre students we attract as interns and full-time team members.
In addition to the engagements and relationships listed below, we have also presented to (or conducted sessions for) many other academic institutions, among them: the Haas School of Business, University of Berkeley, the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Thunderbird School of Management and the University of Michigan Erb Institute in the USA; and, in Europe, the University of Cambridge (including The Judge Institute and the Cambridge Programme for Industry), London Business School and the London School of Economics in the UK and IESE, based in Barcelona, Spain.
The relationships detailed here are with:
- Columbia Business School, New York, USA
- Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility, Cranfield University School of Management, Cranfield, UK
- Harvard Business School, Cambridge, USA
- Imperial College London, London, UK
- Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia
We thank The Skoll Foundation for their indispensable support in the evolution of our educational outreach.
